His expertise includes assessing business performance, implementing turnaround initiatives, restructuring and workout arrangements and formal insolvency appointments.

Experience/recent transactions
Some of Stephen’s recent major assignments include:
- receiver and manager of Munday Group which operates eight hotel and gaming venues and two restaurants in Victoria
- strategic advisor to a large ASX listed entity on its planned acquisition of an infrastructure asset
- administration of Solar Systems, a designer and manufacturer of solar power stations, which included the restructuring and sale of the business to an Australian listed company
- due diligence review on a large portfolio of hotel and gaming venues
- restructure and sale of a footwear manufacturer with operations in USA, Canada, Australia and Germany.
- restructure and sale of a number of Tier 1 and 2 suppliers to GM Holden, Ford, Mitsubishi, Isuzu and Daimler Chrysler
- administrator of Ajax Engineered Fasteners, a key supplier to the Australian automotive industry, including Ford, GM Holden and Pacifica
- administrator of the ASX-listed Harvest Living group, which included the ongoing trading of the Bridgewater Aged Care Facility and Bridgewater Lake Estate Retirement Village
- receiver and manager of Drivetrain Systems International, a manufacturer of automotive transmissions for Ford, Ssang Yong, Mahindra and Mahindra TagAZ. The business was sold to a Chinese vehicle manufacturer and resulted in the banking syndicate being repaid in full.
