Overview
Simon has more than 14 years’ experience in corporate reconstruction and reorganisation, having been involved in both formal and informal insolvency administrations. Simon also has extensive experience in forensic accounting, crisis management and litigation support assignments.
Simon’s experience includes the receivership of Burrup Fertilisers Pty Ltd, the restructuring of Gleneagle Gold Limited and KAEFER Technologies Limited and the liquidation of large enterprises including the Christmas Island Resort and Casino, and the Westpoint Group.
In addition to acting in formal capacities, Simon provides advice to financiers and Boards on corporate restructuring issues and strategies. Simon has also worked as financial accountant of a publicly listed company and undertaken a secondment in the restructuring division of one of Australia’s largest banks.

- receiver and manager of Burrup Fertilisers Pty Ltd, one of the world’s largest producers of liquid ammonia
- voluntary administration and sale of publicly-listed gold mine – Gleneagle Gold Ltd, including recapitalisation of listed entity
- court appointed receivership and liquidation of Christmas Island Resort and Casino.
