Overview
Rod has over 25 years’ experience in the field of business regeneration, insolvency and investigation services. He has worked on assignments ranging from investigations and workouts of businesses facing financial difficulty to major corporate receiverships.
Prior to joining PPB Advisory, Rod worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Coopers & Lybrand for over 15 years', including two years in their London office.
Specialist expertise
Residing in regional Victoria, Rod is sensitive to the economic and personal impact unique to rural enterprises and communities. He has worked closely with all levels of agribusiness, in consultation with financiers and advisors, to provide consulting and strategic advice to achieve the best results for key stakeholders.
In addition to the agriculture sector, Rod’s areas of industry experience include property, retail and hospitality.

Rod’s recent projects include:
- rationalisation/sale of business ending in a going concern sale
- pre-lending review for a financial Institution
- deed of company arrangement of a listed company
- trading of major regional hotel (80 rooms and spa centre)
- management, under receivership, of dairy farming operation in Tasmania
- sale of large broad acre farming enterprise.
