Robert is a Director with PPB Advisory and has over 13 years' experience in distressed financial restructuring with expertise in a number of industry sectors, including manufacturing (with a key focus on automotive component suppliers), retail and hospitality.
Specialist expertise
Robert also undertakes pre-insolvency restructuring, due diligence reviews, financial investigations and turnaround engagements, with experience in cross-border insolvency assignments in the USA dealing with companies in Chapter 11.
Robert’s clients include financial institutions, corporates (private and listed) and legal firms.
Experience/recent transactions
Some of Robert’s recent roles include:
- Team leader on the complex ABC Court-Appointed receivership in which 262 childcare centres around Australia were traded and sold.
- Team leader on the receivership of the national retailer Clive Peeters. The business was successfully sold as a going concern within two months of the appointment.
- Advisor to one of Australia’s major banks in relation to the unwinding of a large property portfolio.
- Advisor to Living and Leisure Australia to provide advice on management of available cash flow, dealing with the repayment of debt (senior secured/mezzanine) and ‘work out’ options.
