Overview
Phillip Russo is a Director in PPB Advisory's IT Forensics practice and has over 27 years’ practical, corporate, financial and police investigative experience.
Phillip is internationally recognised for his digital forensic investigation expertise. He’s advised many Australian and international enforcement agencies and delivered Certified Digital Forensic training to a variety of organisations, including Scotland Yard, FBI regional computer forensic labs, Australian High Tech Crime Centre and the Hong Kong Police Computer Crime Squad.
Phillip was instrumental in establishing an internal IT Forensics capability for Bankwest - one of the first initiatives of its kind in Australia. Phillip has also presented expert evidence in both state and federal courts.

Experience/recent transactions
Phillip has given evidence via teleconference, from Hong Kong to an Australian Supreme Court, thereby successfully assisting the Australian Federal Police in their first prosecution initiated under the Australian Federal Cyber Crime legislation.
