Overview
Lisa has over 24 years’ experience in forensic accounting and investigation, including almost five years' with the Major Fraud and Investigation Group of the Queensland Police Service.
Most recently, she spent three years at an accounting firm as National Lead Partner in Forensic services.
Specialist expertise
Lisa has extensive experience in all aspects of forensic accounting. She has also given expert evidence in Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts on numerous occasions and assisted in mediations on a number of matters. Lisa’s specialist areas of expertise include:
- litigation support
- dispute resolution
- fraud investigation.
Experience/recent transactions
Some of Lisa’s recent achievements include:
- acting as the forensic accounting expert on the 2007 Queensland Fuel Subsidy Commission of Inquiry
- investigation into a $1.5 million fraud in a publicly listed company
- a class action in relation to a large holiday complex. The matter successfully settled at mediation for amounts similar to those contained in Lisa’s expert reports.
