Joe is a Partner with PPB Advisory and heads up the national forensics team. He has over 25 years' experience specialising in chartered accountancy, including 16 years as an expert witness and forensic accountant.
Joe also has extensive experience within the agribusiness and health and aged care areas.
Specialist expertise
Joe has participated in numerous mediation/arbitrations and provided evidence in court on matters such as:
- loss of earnings
- business disruption and loss of profits
- matrimonial disputes
- contractual disputes
- business valuations.
Significant Health and Aged Care appointments include:
- the administrator of a state and federally funded provider of services to the aged and intellectually disabled
- Commissioner to Moorfields Community for Adult Care
- fund administrator to a number of aboriginal health co-operatives
- conducting pre-lending reviews and investigating accountant reports for a number of large aged care groups on behalf of several banks.
Significant agribusiness appointments:
- conducting pre-lending reviews and investigating accountant reports for a number of large agribusinesses including abattoirs, cattle stations etc
- re-financing numerous agribusinesses
- preparing business plans, many of which have saved the business from almost certain liquidation
- successfully operating an abattoir in Colac, Victoria under administration for six months and then selling the business as a going concern.
