Daniel has over 20 years' experience advising stakeholders in corporate advisory and restructuring. His expertise includes assessing business performance and strategy, implementing turnaround initiatives, restructuring and workout arrangements, and formal recovery assignments.
Daniel has also worked as a senior leader in the Credit Management unit of one of Australia’s big four banks and with the Department of Trade and Industry (the equivalent of ASIC) in the UK.

Experience/recent transactions
Some of Daniel’s recent major assignments:
- Advisor to a syndicate of banks in relation to a national transport and logistics business, involving ongoing monitoring and workout.
- Appointed receiver and manager of the national retailer, Clive Peeters. The business was successfully sold within two months of appointment.
- Court-appointed Receiver and Manager of ABC2 Group (as part of the Federal Government-funded program associated with the collapse of ABC Childcare Learning Centres). PPB Advisory’s role included the successful sale of over 220 child care centres and securing child care places for over 16,000 families.
- Appointed receiver and manager to a portfolio of assets associated with a prominent mining magnate.
- Advisor to Living and Leisure Australia (formerly MFS Living and Leisure) during its $150m recapitalisation and debt restructuring.
- Appointed receiver and agent to a national car rental business, which involved the recovery and realisation of over 1800 motor vehicles from multiple locations.
