Colin leads PPB Advisory’s Melbourne Corporate Advisory practice. He has over 20 years’ experience providing corporate finance and business advisory services across a broad range of industries in Europe and Australia. Colin’s experience also includes advising a range of public and private enterprises regarding:
- strategic reviews
- acquisitions and divestments
- transaction structuring
- due diligence.

Colin has managed acquisitions, disposals, equity and debt transactions across many industries including aviation, education, property, aged care/retirement, health, agriculture and professional services.
Experience/recent transactions
Colin’s experience includes:
- sale of Burrup Holdings, a leading producer of liquid ammonia in the Asia Pacific region (on-going)
- sale of the business and assets of Hi-Fert to Ameropa
- sale of the business and assets of Clive Peeters to Harvey Norman
- acquisition of a major Australian education group by a private equity investor
- refinance and recapitalisation of a leading cosmetic products group
- various strategic reviews for national property and construction groups and subsequent transaction advice
- sale of Rylands (retirement villages) to Stockland
- acquisition of the Monash IVF Group by ABN Amro Private Equity
- sale of various winery assets for Foster’s Group
- divestment of the aircraft fleet and aviation assets of Ansett Australia.
