PPB Advisory was confronted with a capital starved large scale dairy enterprise that had the benefit of Australia’s top milk price whilst feed input was produced on an adjoining large scale automated irrigated cropping enterprise.
The overall operation was stabilised using our dairy and cropping experts and a strategy implemented to resource the operation using our own trusted farming staff. Issues addressed included poor animal health, varying milk production and quality, inconsistent feed supply, poor plant management and staffing problems. These were addressed and a successful realisation strategy was implemented and assets were sold above valuation.
Other intensive livestock operations have been addressed involving beef and dairy cattle, sheep, pork and chicken production.
